The MESA-Device Specification / SunSpec Energy Storage Model consists of separate specifications for inverters, meters and storage that address how energy storage components within an energy storage system communicate with each other and with other operational components. MESA-Device Specifications are built on the Modbus protocol.
The workshop will provide an overview of the specifications and strategies for implementing and integrating MESA-Device / SunSpec Energy Storage specification.
The workshop is intended for two audiences:
- MESA members engineering and implementing the specification
- MESA members or prospective members who would like to implement the specification but need an introduction to available tools and direct technical assistance
The workshop will be a chance for participants to ask questions, provide feedback on implementation, and learn from colleagues.
