RCT Systems needed a BMS for naval vessel electrical systems. RCT chose Nuvation Energy’s high-voltage battery management system for their lead-acid battery energy storage application. Their requirements also included custom BMS programming for unique power management profiles. The Nuvation Energy engineering team created custom battery management algorithms which RCT added to the BMS via a downloadable firmware update.
